Dan Feldman explores Spanish neuroscientist Ramón y Cajal’s pioneering drawings of neural networks
Feldman is a faculty member in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley and the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute, as well as director of the Neuroscience PhD program. His laboratory studies the function of the brain’s cerebral cortex, using many imaging techniques that are the twenty-first-century equivalents of Nobel Prize–winning Spanish neuroscientist Ramón y Cajal’s pioneering drawings of neural networks.
